American Institute Supports Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
October 12, 2019, Clifton, NJ – Once again in 2019, AI students, faculty and staff took part in the fight to end breast cancer by participating in the annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer fundraiser. This event helps support survivors and those who have loved or lost someone with breast cancer, while promoting the importance of early detection to combat the disease.
“This event has become an annual tradition for us,” said American Institute CEO Chris Coutts. “It’s a perfect example of our commitment to community service, and the strength that comes from working together to make a difference in people’s lives.”
Supporters from the Clifton campus provided complimentary massages to survivors and attendees at the Bergen County Making Strides Walk. Members from all campuses added their own generous contributions, enabling American Institute (AI) to present the American Cancer Society with a combined donation of $500.
“Everyone here at AI knows someone who has been affected by breast cancer. This is a cause we all care about deeply,” said Assistant Campus President / Director of Education Sherry Muse. “It’s amazing to see our AI family coming together to help support early intervention and the fight for a cure.”
