From our Clifton, NJ campus, Diagnostic Medical Sonography graduate Alexandria G. shared, “Through ultrasound technology, we reveal the stories that begin before words, knowing that we’re helping patients through our work is very fulfilling!”
Sonographers are essential members of healthcare. They used specialized equipment to create images of patient’s internal structures, which help treat a variety of conditions. They can use these images to diagnose heart disease, cancers, kidney problems, pregnancy, and much more. Ultrasound professionals must have patient care skills, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of anatomy.
