As our annual tradition continued, the Toms River, NJ campus was delighted to participate again in a ‘turkey swap’ with the team at Ocean’s Harbor House, a local shelter for at-risk youth and families who practice learning real-life skills like cooking full-size turkeys for holiday celebrations. In this swap, the Harbor House team took the donated frozen birds from the American Institute team and returned them deliciously roasted and ready to serve for the campus’ Thanksgiving celebration. American Institute also donated supplies to help with the Ocean’s Harbor House Thanksgiving celebration as a thank-you for their support to the community and this annual campus event.
All locations enjoyed traditional Thanksgiving menus on campus – an important tradition that brings our #AIFamily together as our staff and faculty share their gratitude for the students who chose American Institute by serving up the meals and bringing some extra smiles with fun, turkey-themed festive wear.
